New call for proposals within Erasmus Mundus programme
The European Commission has launched a new call for proposals for Erasmus Mundus programme. The EACEA 22/10 is launched with the specific aim of accomplishing those objectives identified in the cooperation between European and third country higher education institutions from South Mediterranean Region (Egypt, Israel and occupied Palestinian Territory), Central Asian Republics and Western Balkans.  |

Council of Ministers Must Not Hinder Visa Liberalization Dialogue
High Representative and EU Special Representative in BiH, Valentin Inzko, Head of the EU Police Mission to BiH, Stefan Feller, and Charge d Affaires of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH, Boris Iarochevitch, have sent a letter to Council of Ministers Chair Nikola Spiric regarding fulfillment of outstanding conditions within the visa liberalization process.  |

Statement by the European Union Heads of Mission
The Heads of Mission of the European Union Embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina deeply regret the deliberate boycott by SNSD of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly House of People’s session on 29 July. As a result, the Law on Census of Population and Households was not voted on yesterday because of the lack of a quorum.  |

Support to flood victims in BiH
Heavy rains in late June caused water levels of rivers to rise, leading to severe flooding in several municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over 19,000 people have been affected with about 5,900 houses flooded and infrastructure being so severely damaged that electricity supply was interrupted and road traffic stopped in part of the country.  |
